How Did Winter Get Here?
“How Did Winter Get Here?” is a song about Jack Frost. I am always looking for ways to celebrate winter without having to rely too heavily on the celebration of holidays.
What makes this song fun for the kids is that it doesn’t reveal who it is about, so they have to try and discover that on their own. Once they learn it, it becomes especially fun for them to sing and share with families and friends (and their classroom teacher!)
This song works best for Pre K-2nd grade students. Feel free to incorporate simple dance moves. It will make your preschool music class even more fun!
