In this lesson, your students will explore how a single song can evolve across cultures and styles, using the familiar tune “The Lion Sleeps Tonight.” They will compare three distinctive versions – from traditional Zulu roots to American pop to a Disney film adaptation – and respond through movement, discussion, and creative interpretation.
