Meter Detective
K-2nd Grade

In this lesson plan, the students become “Meter Detectives,” listening closely to uncover the secret patterns behind the music.

Combining their ears, bodies, and detective smarts, they will move to the beat—using body percussion for duple meter and triple meter—as they explore how music is grouped into twos and threes.
