Melodic Form Movement
2nd-3rd Grade

This lesson plan is a fun way to develop students’ understanding of musical form. Students will compose short melodies and simple movements to represent musical ideas. The combination of these melodies and movements will be what is used to create music form. This lesson plan can take anywhere from 2-3 class times.
