I Love Music

Sol-mi is one of the first singing patterns a music educator learns to integrate into their preschool and elementary curriculum. It’s a pattern that young students find successful, and I adapt this pattern as a go-to for pitch matching. This free music lesson plan offers several suggestions for how I have used this pattern in the classroom.

Your students will learn how to echo-sing a simple sol-mi pattern and develop pitch matching skills.
