4th and 5th Grade Sub Plan: Rhythm Rush
This sub plan is a fun game that will get the music students you are teaching today moving as they practice recognizing rhythm patterns. Students will pick a corner to stand in – but there’s a twist! The goal is to listen closely, think quickly, and pick a “safe” rhythm corner to stay in the game.
Angela’s Advice: I recommend that you introduce this lesson to your class once before using it as a sub plan.
