3rd – 5th Grade Sub Plan: Step-By-Step

Based on the classic game Connect Four, this fun sub plan will get your students practicing their note reading and their understanding of scales (steps)!

Each student will work to build a scale on their own staff board. The first student to complete a 4-note scale in order wins!

Angela’s Advice: I recommend that you introduce this lesson to your class once before using it as a sub plan.
